This seems like a pretty high price, but let’s see if the set can justify that. Let’s first take a look at the minifigures.
He has a nice sand blue cape and a reversible head, along with a great printed orange torso.
I really like the updated printing and the great helmet, although the generic head kind of lets the overall figure down. There’s also a storage compartment in the back. However, this feels like a wasted area just to store a small pistol. There’s foldable landing gear as well, but they aren’t flat when completely retracted. There are also laser cannons on either side which rotate 360º. Upon pressing these activators, the missiles fire out and this is a very satisfying feature. It comes in two parts: the speeder itself and a ladder. Ultimately, the fatal flaw of this set is its price. Do you agree with my rating, or do you think it was too harsh?

Repair and refit before the next mission!
Includes service cart loaded with tools, extra ammo and detachable ladder. There’s also a service cart loaded with tools, extrammo and a detachable access ladder to load the a-wing pilot into position. He likes the fact that the guns shoot really far without difficulty and that he got 3 “guys” with the set. This item’s engines articulate a little less, but the firing mechanism is less cumbersome. There are a few stickers, but only for subtle details, and they are very easy to apply since they line up with smooth, flat pieces. For the price it would have been nice to have a fourth figure or maybe a droid. It helps to build out a rebel hangar scene. But it looks nice and it has a good ground crew complement that comes with it. This set offers an age-appropriate build and play experience for ages 8-14. Service cart measures over 2” (7cm) high, 3” (9cm) long and 1” (3cm) wide.
