Themed packs are less general and give a more specific target for the junior constructor. Great marketing, but the product does not disappoint.
It’s currently on my dining room table being assembled. She loves building them and playing with them. It is however very small, the picture on the box makes you think it going to be much bigger than it actually is. However, had to put my principles to one side as my god-daughter wanted this for her birthday. She showed me the finished product and told me about the ‘characters’. All these flowers, a billion bits of blue junk, and pointless decoration, is patronising. A pretty complex build, but once done it’s pretty sturdy. This kept my child occupied for 2 and a half days and plays with it all the time. Some of the pieces were a bit fiddly but she persevered and completed all by herself. She loves how the bus extends and even has a tiny bathroom at the back.
She will spend ages putting on performances with all the little lego pop stars.
I like how the wheels actually turn and help drive the bus along. It is new and unopened (sealed) and the box is in excellent condition. This set has 682 pieces and is suitable for 8-12 year olds.
